Lesley found Buti a little over a year ago and she has been in love with it ever since. Lesley works full time in retail banking and found movement as a way to release pent-up energy. She ended up finding herself along the way. In her spare time, Lesley is a Reiki master and Tarot reader and just started her 200 hr YTT through The Cure. She hopes that teaching Buti and Yoga to others will help them in their own healing process.
Teaching Style: Lovin' on your body, getting out of your comfort zone
Samantha was intuitively called to movement practices in search of healing. This calling was not initially met with joyous excitement, as the fears of being too fat, too out of shape, and too tired started to creep in. It was through her yoga practice that Samantha was able to start to face those stories and begin to dismantle them, internally. Her offering is to create a space where all bodies and all abilities can feel safe and empowered to find their own healing through intuitive movement and meditation.
Samantha is a high school special education teacher who earned her 200-hr certification through Breathe for Change, an organization for classroom teachers designed to support the wellness of students and teachers through yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and social emotional learning opportunities. Her intention is to empower people to harness their self-care practices to manifest restorative justice for themselves and others.

Movement found Carmen back in July of 1990 as she shimmied out of her mother’s womb in Lima, Peru. From there she shimmied all the way up to the United States where she currently resides with her adoptive parents.
Her movement practice post high school was nonexistent until The Cure found her a decade later. Finally feeling back at home in her body, Carmen wanted to learn how she could share the healing elements of connecting to the music’s beat. She completed her 200-hour YTT under Sami of The Cure in April 2019 and received her Buti certification December 2019.
Carmen aims to build a safe space for anyone looking to explore the combination of movement and sound & invites you as she embarks on her new journey as a Buti Instructor
