What makes us the OG mission-driven studio on the north shore?
CONNECTION is the key. We promise to show up as our authentic selves, and we hope you will, too!
We strive to uphold a community in which competition + comparison are not tolerated. We promise to show up for each other both ON + OFF the mat.
We do our part to actively reach out to those who are underrepresented in the wellness community. We invite all students and instructors without regards to race, colors, religion, sex, pregnancy, age, nationality, origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic. We abide by "know better, do better" and promise to acknowledge when we flop.
We are committed to providing a trauma-informed movement experience. We strive to be on the cutting edge of movement, making it more accessible to all, and taking care not to perpetuate cultural appropriation. Our instructors are committed to continuing education and anatomy knowledge. We encourage your to listen to your body and MOVE FREELY!
No talk of weight loss or dieting in the studio, please.
CELEBRATE ALL THE THINGS YOUR BODY IS DOING RIGHT
All bodies are beautiful and we support health at EVERY size
Meet our Founder
Hey, I'm Sami. I've been teaching yoga since I was 16 years old. Yoga has been the cornerstone of my entire life - healing me physically, guiding me spiritually - all of that time, and I can safely say I don't know who I would be without it. I've studied in India and taught in over 14 countries worldwide, and yet I'm amazed at the new lessons the practice brings to me every day. It's an honor and a gift to share this path with others. I started The Cure in 2017 in an attempt to create a new kind of studio - one where diet culture doesn't rule supreme, the music is never too loud, and yogis don't take themselves so darn seriously all the time. Since then, we've been in four locations across New England, our team is always growing and changing, and our mission remains the same. We hope you join us for a new kind of practice.
